Ear Ease

Young children are prone to ear infections largely because their Eustachian tubes are very narrow and nearly horizontal, making them less likely to drain and function properly. The primary function of the Eustachian tube is to maintain equal pressure on both sides of the ear drum. When you or your child suffers from ear pain, chances are the Eustachian tube is swollen, clogged or infected, perhaps all three. Most parents have no idea how to best address a child screaming with intense ear pain. Numerous over the counter medications are available at any drug store but understand they only numb or mask the pain – they typically do nothing to address the actual cause of the pain, so any relief will likely be temporary at best.

Each time you swallow or yawn, the Eustachian Tubes open briefly to let air in to allow the pressure in the middle ear to equalize with the pressure on the outside of the ears. When the Ear Ease is filled with hot water and held to the ear, it imparts a concentrated heat that penetrates to the middle ear. This focused application of heat can effectively promote the opening of the Eustachian Tube. Simple physics states that the introduction of heat into a closed system yields a pressure gradient change. That pressure change can effectively open the Eustachian Tube enough to equalize the pressure, thereby relieving both pain and pressure, sometimes in a matter of minutes. Although the principle is quite simple, the results are undeniable. In the last 25 years, tens of thousands of children and adults have experienced the transition from agonizing ear pain and pressure to the coveted calm one experience’s when the pain subsides. Our confidence level in our product is such that if you are not 100% satisfied, return the product and we will refund your purchase price – No Questions Asked!
